Bochen Goal Propels #6/6 Bobcats to Weekend Sweep

Perets Saves 12 in Third Shutout of Season
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – A power play goal by sophomore Nick Bochen broke a scoreless tie in the third period to push #6/6 Quinnipiac men's ice hockey to a 1-0 win over Brown on Saturday afternoon. The Bobcats improve to 2-0 in ECAC Hockey play and 7-1-2 on the season with the win.
Bochen one-timed a feed from Zach Metsa and scored from the top of the faceoff circle for the game's only goal. Ty Smilanic earned his third assist of the season on the goal while Metsa picked up his eighth point in nine games.
Goaltender Yaniv Perets recorded his second shutout of the weekend, making 12 saves in each game.
