Five Bobcats Reach Double-Figure Scoring in Win Over Hartford

HAMDEN, Conn. – It was a total team effort as the Quinnipiac women's basketball team set a new Div. I program-record for points in a game in its 113-64 home victory over Hartford Sunday afternoon inside of the People's United Center.

Five players reached double-figures in scoring, led by junior guard Sajada Bonner's career-high 18 points. Junior forward Cur'Tiera Haywood added 17 points, while first-year guard Reiven Douglas added a career-high 13 points in the victory.

GAME SUMMARY

The Bobcats went 8-for-11 from the floor to open the game, jumping out to a 20-10 lead midway through the opening frame
Cur'Tiera Haywood and Mackenzie DeWees posted five points apiece during the run, knocking down a three-pointer and layup apiece
After the Hawks cut the Quinnipiac lead to eight, the Bobcats used the final 2:21 of the quarter to go on a 10-2 run, carrying a 31-15 lead into the second quarter
