No. 8/8 Bobcats Edged by Princeton

HAMDEN, Conn. – Despite outshooting Princeton, 37-18, the No. 8/8 Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team was edged at home Saturday afternoon in a tight 1-0 loss to the Tigers. Maggie Connors scored the game's lone goal for Princeton, and Princeton's netminder Rachel McQuigge had 37 saves. Graduate student Corinne Schroeder made 17 saves in the net for Quinnipiac.
This is the Bobcats' first loss this season, and the team now stands at 11-1-2 overall with a 5-1 ECAC Hockey record. The Tigers moved to 5-1 overall through six conference games played.
Quinnipiac will play the last four games of 2021 on the road, beginning with a trip for Cornell and Colgate next weekend.
