HAMDEN, Conn. - The Quinnipiac men's cross country team competed at the CCSU Mini Meet on Friday afternoon in New Britain, Conn. The team finished eighth out of 12 teams in the men's varsity 5k. Senior Jack Hilton led the Bobcats in the varsity race with a 29th place finish (15:33.5). Providence's Adbel Laadjel won the varsity race with a time of 14:41.1.

- In 34th place, senior Matthew Burke tallied a time of 15:40.3.
- Sophomore Andrew Woodbine was right behind Burke in 35th place (15:42.6).
- Sophomore James Kiernan took 62nd place with a time of 16.16.9.
- Senior Jeff Venter recorded a time of 16:36.4 in 70th place.
- In 72nd place, sophomore Jack Watson notched a time of 16:40.5.
- Junior Matthew Rene led the Bobcats in the men's sub varsity run with a time of 15:51.2, finishing in ninth place.
- Sophomore Nolas Kus took 32nd place with a time of 16:22.7.
- In 36th place, sophomore Kevin Carballo notched a time of 16:25.7.
- Sophomore Isaac Steele was right behind Carballo, finishing in 37th place with a time of 16:28.2.
- Senior Max Stenslie took 48th place (16:41.4).
- First-year Keegan Metcalfe finished in 52nd with a time of 16:48.7.
- In 60th place, first-year Jacob Guarino tallied a time of 17:01.3.
- First-year Michael Tuffey finished in 66th place (17:13.8).
- Recording a time of 17:40.7, first-year Ohm Patel finished in 75th place.
- Quinnipiac will travel to Orlando, Fla., to compete at the MAAC Championships on Oct. 30 at ESPN's Wide World of Sports.
