Three Bobcats record multi-point games in 3-1 win
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team downed the Brown Bears, 3-1, on the road on Friday night. Three Bobcats recorded multi-point games – juniors Taylor Girard, Taylor House and senior Kati Tabin all had a goal and an assist. The Bobcats held the Bears to just 18 shots, and senior netminder Abbie Ives made 17 saves.

- (10:13, 2nd period, EV) – Quinnipiac 1, Brown 0: The Bobcats killed off the second penalty of the second period, and junior Taylor House sent the puck flying up to junior Taylor Girard, who was flying out of the box. The pass was perfect, and Girard finished a one-on-one with Brown's Calla Isaac to give Quinnipiac a 1-0 lead.
- (17:40, 2nd period, EV) – Quinnipiac 2, Brown 0: First-year Kate Reilly and junior Laura Lundblad battled in the corner before Lundblad settled the puck and found senior Kati Tabin. Tabin skated towards the net, across the crease and backhanded it past Isaac.
- (6:48, 3rd period, EV) – Quinnipiac 2, Brown 1: The Bears added one of their own in the third period. Tina Paolillo lifted the puck past senior Abbie Ives right above the crease.
- (17:28, 3rd period, EV) – Quinnipiac 3, Brown 1: Girard shot to the left side of the net and got her own rebound. She hit it off the wall, and House snagged the rebound on the back-door and buried the puck past Isaac.
- Girard scored her third goal in three-straight games and now has nine points on the season with six assists. She earned her second multi-point game of the season with a goal and an assist in the win. Girard led the team with six shots on goal.
- Tabin tallied a goal and an assist in the win for her first multi-point game of the year.
- House scored her fifth goal of the season and added a helper on Girard's goal.
- Lundblad added an assist and had recorded four points in the last five games.
- Quinnipiac outshot Brown, 32-18 and was perfect on the penalty kill.
- The Bobcats will take a short trip to New Haven, Conn., to take on the Yale Bulldogs at 3 p.m., on Saturday, Feb. 1.
