Women's Soccer Announces 2019 Schedule

Harvard, Loyola Highlight Bobcats' Slate
HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac women's soccer head coach Dave Clarke has announced the program's schedule for the 2019 season, featuring seven non-conference matchups.
The Bobcats will play 17 games over the course of the fall season with 10 at home and seven on the road. The non-conference schedule includes matchups against Loyola University Maryland and Harvard.
Quinnipiac will prepare for the home opener with three preseason exhibitions against UConn, Holy Cross and Sacred Heart.
The Bryant Bulldogs will visit to Hamden on Sunday, Aug. 25 for the Bobcats' home and season opener. Bryant went 8-7-1 last year with a 4-3-1 NEC record. Quinnipiac opened the 2018 season against Bryant and won, 3-0. Three days later, on Aug. 28, Quinnipiac will host URI, who went 0-17-1 in 2018.
The Bobcats will hit the road on Sept. 1 to take on Loyola, in the first matchup between the two sides since November of 2000 where Quinnipiac won, 2-1. On Sept. 4, Quinnipiac will travel to Cambridge, Mass., to take on Harvard, who went 7-7-1 last season.
The Bobcats will return home on Sunday, Sept. 8 for three straight games against Hartford, UMass Lowell and Dartmouth.
Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play will begin Saturday, Sept. 21 as Quinnipiac travels to Buffalo, N.Y., to face Canisius. The Bobcats will have almost a week off before the Rider Broncs come to Hamden on Saturday, Sept. 28.
On Wednesday, Oct. 2, Quinnipiac will begin its toughest week of conference play with a road contest against Marist, followed by a home tilt against defending MAAC Champions, Monmouth, on Saturday, Oct. 5.
The Fairfield Stags will host the Bobcats on Wednesday, Oct. 9, and then Quinnipiac will return home to play Niagara on Saturday, Oct. 12.
The Bobcats will play the last two road games of the season against Saint Peter's and Iona on Oct. 16 and 19, respectively. Quinnipiac will finish the regular season at home against Manhattan and Siena on Oct. 23 and 30.
Postseason will begin on Nov. 3 with the top six teams in the league standings advancing to the MAAC Championship Tournament.
