Scullin Leads Bobcats at David Hemery Valentine Invitational

RESULTS
BOSTON, Mass. - The Bobcats returned to the Boston University Track and Tennis Center for the second weekend in a row to compete at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational. Junior Meaghan Scullin led the team in the long jump finals, and freshman Kalli'ana Botelho placed first in her individual heat in the 200m dash.
Field Results
Scullin placed ninth in the long jump finals with a 5.53m leap. Botelho placed fourth in the high jump finals with a 1.70m leap.
Track Results
Botelho finished first in her heat and 23rd overall in the 200m dash with a time of 25.01, which was a new freshman record. Junior Meghan Curtin took second in her flight and 40th overall in the 1000m run with a time of 2:58.01. Senior Emily Wolff a 9:43.09 time in the 3000m and came in second place in her section and 37th overall.
In the 4x400m relay, Melissa Solomon, Aisha Gay, Ahmetra Davies, and Curtin took first in their flight and 22nd overall with a time of 3:55.83.

The Bobcats will be back in action for the MAAC Championships on Feb. 16-17 at the Armory in New York, N.Y.
