
Track & Field Set to Compete at ECAC Championships

HAMDEN, Conn. - The Quinnipiac women's track and field team is set to compete at the ECAC Championships in Boston, Mass., from March 1-3 at the Boston University Track and Tennis Center. Seven individual Bobcats qualified to compete at the ECAC Championships in seven different events, and two relay squads will also compete in the 4x800m and distance medley relay events.

- Senior Kaleigh Roberts and junior Morgan Voight will represent Quinnipiac in the 1-mile event. Roberts qualified at the John Thomas Terrier Classic with a 4:57:04 mark. Voight qualified with a 4:57.94 time at the MAAC Indoor Championships.
- In the 3000m run, fifth-year senior Emily Wolff recorded a 9:43.09 qualifying mark at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational. Wolff also qualified for the 5000m run event with a 16:32.37 time at the John Thomas Terrier Classic.
- Coming off winning the MAAC Indoor Rookie of the Meet recognition, freshman Symone Foster will race in the 60m hurdles after qualifying at the MAAC Championships with an 8.66 time.
- The Bobcats qualified for the 4x800m event with a 9:07.45 time. Freshman Emily Young, sophomore Brooke Hagen, juniors Megan Curtin and Ahmetra Davies will compete at the ECACs for Quinnipiac in the 4x800m event.
- Sophomore Amanda Carlson, junior Melissa Solomon, senior Maria Ricalton and Curtin will race for the Bobcats in the distance medley relay.
- Freshman Kalli'ana Botelho qualified for the high jump with a 1.70m mark at the David Hemery Invitational.
- In the long jump, junior Meaghan Scullin will represent Quinnipiac after qualifying with a 5.60m leap at the Great Dane Classic.
- Senior Carly Timpson will compete in the weight throw after qualifying for the event at the NEICAAA Indoor Track & Field Championships with a 16.71m throw.
