Ives records third shutout of the season
HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team downed the St. Lawrence Saints, 5-0, on Friday night with five different Bobcats scoring in the shutout win. Senior netminder Abbie Ives tallied her third shutout of the season with 29 saves.

- (2:50, 1st period, EV) – Quinnipiac 1, St. Lawrence 0: Junior Taylor House skated to the center of the Bobcats' offensive zone and passed to first-year Kate Reilly, who was at the edge of the circle. Reilly controlled the puck and hit a wrister that went past St. Lawrence's Lucy Morgan to give the Bobcats a 1-0 lead.
- (12:20, 1st period, EV) – Quinnipiac 2, St. Lawrence 0: After a flurry of shots in front of St. Lawrence's net, senior Sarah-Eve Coutu-Godbout buried a rebound to give the Bobcats a 2-0 lead.
- (13:32, 3rd period, EN) – Quinnipiac 3, St. Lawrence 0: The Saints took Morgan out of the game to skate with a six-vs-five advantage. Sophomore Lexie Adzija shot the puck from the neutral zone to score the empty netter.
- (14:18, 3rd period, EN) – Quinnipiac 4, St. Lawrence 0: First-year Sadie Peart scored the second empty netter of the game from the top of the offensive zone. Coutu-Godbout added an assist on the goal.
- (16:38, 3rd period, EV) – Quinnipiac 5, St. Lawrence 0: Senior Kenzie Prater skated from the neutral zone and scored right outside of the crease to give the Bobcats a 5-0 lead.
- Coutu-Godbout scored her fourth straight goal in four games. She also added an assist for two points on the weekend.
- Reilly netted her second of the year from junior Taylor House, who recorded her first helper.
- Ives made 29 saves in her third shutout victory of the season.
- Adzija, Peart and Prater all scored in the third period.
- Quinnipiac outshot St. Lawrence, 33-29.
- The Bobcats stayed perfect on the penalty kill, allowing just three shots.
