HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac women's ice team skated to a 2-2 tie on Saturday afternoon against the No. 5/5 Clarkson Golden Knights. Sophomore Lexie Adzija and first-year Kate Reilly both scored in the tie. Senior netminder Abbie Ives recorded 26 saves.

(4:14, 2nd period, PP – Quinnipiac 0, Clarkson 1: Elizabeth Giguere got the scoring started in the second period on the Golden Knights' power play. Kayla Friesen tallied an assist on the goal.
(15:56, 2nd period, 4v4) – Quinnipiac 0, St. Clarkson 2: The Golden Knights add a second goal from Michaela Pejzlova to take the lead to 2-0.
(19:05, 3rd period, EN) – Quinnipiac 1, Clarkson 2: Sophomore Lexie Adzija gave the Bobcats the spark they needed after scoring from the top of the circle with under a minute remaining in the second period.
(00:24, 3rd period, EN) – Quinnipiac 2, Clarkson 2: First-year Kate Reilly hit a rocket of a shot from just over the blue line and went bar down past Clarkson's Marie-Pier Coulombe to tie the game 2-2.

NOTES

Adzjia scored her second goal of the weekend and finished with three points through two games.
Reilly also scored her second of the weekend.
Ives tallied 26 saves in the tie.
Adzija was superb on the faceoffs and won 20 out of 29 (69%).
The Bobcats won 60% of the faceoffs.
Seniors Kati Tabin and Sarah-Eve Coutu-Godbout lead the time with five shots each.
