HAMILTON, N.Y. – The Quinnipiac women's ice hockey team fell to the Colgate Raiders, 4-2, on the road on Saturday afternoon. Sophomores Lexie Adzija and Zoe Boyd both scored for the Bobcats. Senior netminder Abbie Ives made 24 saves.

SCORING SUMMARY

(4:20, 1st period, EV) – Quinnipiac 1, Colgate 0: Sophomore Lexie Adzija got the Bobcats going in the first period off a solid snipe from in between the circles in the Quinnipiac offensive zone. First-year Sadie Peart tallied an assist on the play.
(13:1, 1st period, PP) – Quinnipiac 2, Colgate 0: Sophomore Zoe Boyd scored her first goal of the season on the Bobcats' power play. She secured the puck from senior Kati Tabin at the point and hit a slap shot past Colgate's Liz Auby.
(10:58, 2nd period, EV) – Quinnipiac 2, Colgate 1:The Raiders got on the board after Rosy Demers scored her first goal of the season. She was assisted by Danielle Serdachny.
(11:13, 2nd period, EV) – Quinnipiac 2, Colgate 2: Colgate scored again 15 seconds after the first goal. Tanner Gates scored on a 2-vs-1 after deflecting a pass into the net from Noemi Neubauerova.
(11:13, 2nd period, EV) – Quinnipiac 2, Colgate 3:Colgate opened the third period with a goal from Malia Schneider, who tapped in a pass from Serdachny on the back door.
(11:13, 2nd period, EV) – Quinnipiac 2, Colgate 4:The Raiders struck again with the second goal of the third period by Serdachny, who tallied her third point of the game.

Adzija and Boyd led the team with one goal each.
First-year Sadie Peart and senior Kati Tabin each tallied one assist.
Colgate out shot Quinnipiac 28-21.
Three different Bobcats registered three shots on goal – Tabin, Adzija and senior Sarah-Eve Coutu-Godbout.
The Bobcats killed off every penalty they faced, going 5/5 on the kill.
Boyd's goal was a power play goal; the Bobcats went 1-3 on the power play.
Colgate's Serdachny tallied three points with two assists and one goal.
