POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – The Quinnipiac women's soccer team dropped a MAAC mid-week contest to the Marist Red Foxes, 1-0, on Wednesday night. Marist's Jillian Colucci scored the lone goal to send the Red Foxes over the Bobcats in Poughkeepsie.

Quinnipiac moves to 5-5 on the season (1-2 MAAC) and Marist is now 4-6-1 overall (1-1-1 MAAC).

SCORING SUMMARY

Second Half

(78' - Quinnipiac 0, Marist 1): Marist's Jillian Colucci chased a diagonal ball played into the right corner. After controlling the ball at the top corner of the 18-yard box, Colucci cut back into the middle and curved a shot with her left foot into the far side of the goal past freshman Meaghan Phillips.

NOTES

Senior Kelsey Goldring recorded four shots, and sophomore Selena Salas and freshman Markela Bejleri tallied three each.
The Quinnipiac back line allowed just one shot on goal through 90 minutes.
Quinnipiac outshot Marist 16-2.
Marist recorded 13 fouls and Quinnipiac tallied nine.
