HAMDEN, Connecticut – Quinnipiac junior goalkeeper Olivia Myszewski (Elm Grove, Wisconsin) made eight saves, but the Quinnipiac women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to the Harvard University Crimson on Sunday afternoon.

SCORING SUMMARY

52:28 (HARV 1, QU 0) – Harvard's Murphy Agnew pushed the ball off to the right side for a streaking Sophie Hirst who flushed a shot into the left corner of the goal for her second goal of the season.

NOTES

Kelsey Goldring returned to the lineup for the Bobcats for the first time since the season opener at Boston College. Goldring and Ally Grunstein were the two Bobcats to put a shot on target.
The Bobcats created seven corner kick opportunities in the effort, but produced just two shots on goal. The Crimson only mustered three corner kicks, but were able to put nine shots on goal.
Myszewski made eight saves in the loss, running her season total to 27 saves.

UPCOMING GAME
The Bobcats will play a pair of matches next weekend in their final preparations for MAAC competition. Quinnipiac will travel to UMass Lowell on Thursday evening for a 7:00 kickoff and wrap up non-conference play by hosting NJIT on Sunday, September 9 at noon.
