HAMDEN, Connecticut – A shorthanded Quinnipiac women's soccer team was defeated, 1-0, by Seton Hall on Wednesday night in the Bobcats' 2018 home opener at the Quinnipiac Soccer & Lacrosse Stadium.

- A scrum ensued inside the six-yard box after a Seton Hall corner kick. Quinnipiac goalkeeper Olivia Myszewski (Elm Grove, Wisconsin) punched the ball away, but it deflected off of Bobcats defender Hannah Reiter, and into the goal.

NOTES

Jess Gargan (Dublin, Ireland) missed the game after receiving a red card in the team's last contest at Dartmouth.
Lauren Triglione (West Newbury, Massachusetts) received a yellow card for the Bobcats in the 24th minute. Marissa Aniolowski (68') and Atley Fortney (73') received yellows for the Pirates.
Ally Grunstein (Warren, New Jersey) created multiple chances for the hosts, putting two shots on goal in the losing effort. Mackenzie Tibbal and Kylie Lance also added a shot on goal each for Quinnipiac.
