HAMDEN, Conn. - Four players scored in double-figures as the Quinnipiac women's basketball team was able to defeat the Iona Gaels, 90-47, on Sunday afternoon at the TD Bank Sports Center.
The win was Quinnipiac's 14th in a row as the Bobcats move to 13-0 in MAAC play. Paula Strautmane scored a game-high 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds, while Jaden Ward scored a career-high 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds as well. Taylor Herd added 14 points and three steals, while Jen Fay scored 13, grabbed six rebounds and dished out four assists.
