Women's Cross Country Honors Three Seniors at CCSU Mini Meet

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. – The women's cross country team honored the three seniors after the CCSU Mini Meet on Friday, Oct. 19. Kaitlyn Hebert, Maria Ricalton and Mary Watters have dedicated the past four years to both the women's cross country and track and field teams at Quinnipiac.
At the CCSU Mini Meet, the Bobcats took eighth overall out of 14 teams in the women's varsity 3k race. Providence finished first overall with 20 team points. Boston College and New Hampshire took second and third, respectively.
Maria Ricalton took 15th place overall with a time of 10:28.9. Brooke Hagen ran the next fastest time for the Bobcats finishing in 36th place (10:59.5).
Danielle Marcone had the third fastest time in the 3k for Quinnipiac and finished in 43rd place (11:06.3). Sara Wilcox placed in 60th with a time of 11:24.4.
Mia Pestle took 69th overall with a time of 11:35.7. Katie Bradley finished in 83rd place with a time of 11:56.9. Right behind Bradley was Samantha Leal in 84th with a time of 11:56.9.

Quinnipiac will travel to Loudonville, N.Y., for the MAAC Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Oct. 27. The first meet will begin at 12 p.m.
