Storrs, Conn. - Quinnipiac women's tennis wraps up 2018-19 fall action on Wednesday, traveling to Storrs to square off with Connecticut in non-conference action.

- Dominique Vasile dropped a tightly contested main draw event in singles play (7-5, 6-3).
- Kamilla Nella fell in a close battle during qualifying singles action (6-4, 6-4).
- Both Quinnipiac doubles duos (Jennifer Lu/Payton Bradley and Kamilla Nella/Layla Rodriguez) fell during Day 2 action of the tournament.
- Kamilla Nella leads the way for the Bobcats so far in 2018-19 with eight singles wins, while Jennifer Lu and Courtney Nash have both recorded seven singles victories.
- The duo of Proyfon Lohaphaisan and Dominique Vasile have won six contests this fall, while Payton Bradley and Jennifer Lu have tallied five doubles wins.
- The Bobcats are coming off their fifth-straight MAAC Championship in 2017-18, posting a perfect 7-0 record in regular season conference action. Quinnipiac finished the 2018 MAAC Championship with two singles victories 15 seconds apart, lifting the program to a 4-1 win over Marist at the Mercer County Tennis Center on April 29, 2018.
- Paula Miller enters her fifth season as the Director of Tennis and Women's Tennis Head Coach in 2018-19, after a successful season in which Quinnipiac women's tennis reached their 11th NCAA Tournament Appearance in the Division I era after winning the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championship title for the fifth straight year.
- Miller also earned her fourth consecutive MAAC Coach of the Year Award as she guided the Bobcats to their fifth straight MAAC Regular Season Championship with a fifth straight perfect year in the MAAC.
- The Bobcats went 7-0 in the regular season before claiming two more wins in the MAAC Tournament, to improve to a perfect 47-0 against league opponents since joining the MAAC in 2013-14.
- Sophomore Dominique Vasile (Bingham Farms, MI) returns to the Bobcats after an impressive freshman year. She was named 2017-18 MAAC Player of the Year and MAAC Rookie of the Year, and was selected to the First-Team All-MAAC team at No. 1 singles and No. 2 doubles. She finished 17-5 in singles last year, leading the program in win percentage.
- The reining MAAC Championship Most Outstanding Performer Jennifer Lu (Cypress, CA) returns for her senior year with the Bobcats. Lu posted a team-high 20 wins in singles (20-14) and a team-best 18 wins in doubles (18-13) in 2017-18, earning All-MAAC First Team status at No. 2 singles.
- Proyfon Lohaphaisan (Santa Clara, CA) also returns for her senior year in 2018-19 after posting 34 total wins last season. She went 19-11 in singles play and 15-10 in doubles action, earning First Team All-MAAC status at No. 5 singles and No. 2 doubles.
- Sophomore Courtney Nash (Andover, Mass.) was a First-Team All-MAAC performer at No. 6 singles last year, finishing with a 17-8 mark in singles play.
- Sophomore Payton Bradley (Downington, PA) was named First-Team All-MAAC for No. 3 singles, compiling 25 total wins in 2017-18.
- Layla Rodriguez (Rancho Santa Margarita) was named to the All-MAAC First Team in No. 4 singles, earning 15 singles wins and 15 doubles wins last year.
