STORRS, Conn. – Quinnipiac women's tennis completed its fall schedule on Wednesday, falling to UConn in non-conference action (6-1).

Dominique Vasile won the Bobcats' lone match of the day, topping UConn's Jacquelyn Fitz-Randolph 6-4, 3-6, 10-7.

NOTES

Kamilla Nella leads the way for the Bobcats so far in 2018-19 with eight singles wins, while Jennifer Lu and Courtney Nash have both recorded seven singles victories.
The duo of Proyfon Lohaphaisan and Dominique Vasile have won six contests this fall, while Payton Bradley and Jennifer Lu have tallied five doubles wins.

DEFENDING CHAMPS

The Bobcats are coming off their fifth-straight MAAC Championship in 2017-18, posting a perfect 7-0 record in regular season conference action. Quinnipiac finished the 2018 MAAC Championship with two singles victories 15 seconds apart, lifting the program to a 4-1 win over Marist at the Mercer County Tennis Center on April 29, 2018.
