Women's Cross Country Competes at Princeton Invitational

HAMDEN, Conn. – The women's cross country team finished 17thout of 22 teams at the Princeton Invitational on Friday, Oct. 12.
Kaitlin Bakas finished first overall for the Bobcats with a time of 22:31.8 in the women's varsity 6000-meter race and took 38thplace. Maria Ricalton finished in 81stplace with a time of 23:07:1 and second for the Bobcats.
Meghan Curtin followed in third for Quinnipiac with a time of 23:30.9 and finished in 112th. Amanda Carlson was not too far behind Curtin with a 116thplace finish in a time of 23:34.1. Kate Gihorski finished in 119thplace with a time of 23:33.6.
Shaelyn Pacheco placed 135th(23:48.3), Amy Laverty finished in 153rdplace (24:05.6), Gabriella Prizio finished in 178thplace (24:29.3) and Madeleine Shellard placed 201st(25:21.9).
