As a graduate student in 2021:
- Took eighth place at the SHU/QU Winter XC Dual Meet with a time of 11:34.3 in the 3.2k
- Placed 12th in the Jasper Invitational 5k with a career-best time of 19:14.3
- Tallied a career-best time in the 3k (10:35.2) at the CCSU Mini Meet
- Recorded a time of 23:40.2 at the 2019 MAAC Championships
- At the NCAA Northeast Regionals, Carlson talled a career-best time of 22:06.1in the 6k
- Opened the season with a career-best time at the Siena Invitational (19:14.5) in the 5k
- Tallied a career-best time in the 4k (15:43.4) at the Stony Brook Season Opener
- Finished 44th out of 94 runners with a 20:22.47 at the 5K Monmouth Invitational
- Earned a top 20 finish (17th) at the 4K Stony Brook Season Opener with a 15:03.5
- Graduated from Sachem North High School in New York with nine varsity letters in cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field
- Achieved personal-bests in the 800m (2:24.84), 1000m (3:10.86), 1500m (5:02.42), 2k steeple (7:52.61) and the 5k (19:21.80)
- Helped lead Sachem North to the Division 1 Championship in cross country during her junior year as well as a League 1 and League 2 title
- Also broke three school records including the 4x1600m indoor relay, shuttle hurdle indoor relay and the steeplechase outdoor
