Emily Wolff, Jessica Lee Highlight QU Indoor Track and Field at Great Dane Classic

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - Senior Emily Wolff (pictured) was sixth out of 61 in the 1-mile run with a new personal best (5:03.06) and senior Jessica Lee finished third overall out of 30 in the 60-meter hurdles (8.45) to highlight the Quinnipiac women's indoor track and field team's performance at UAlbany's Great Dane Classic at Ocean Breeze in Staten Island on Saturday.

- Quinnipiac was competing in its second competition of the 2017-18 season, and its first in over a month since the Yale Season Opener on December 9.
- Jessica Lee won her heat in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.53 to qualify for the finals. Lee's 8.45 in the finals placed her third overall and second among collegiate competitors, behind only Tia Thevenin of Syracuse (8.37), while second place was Ashlea Maddex of the Ottawa Lions.
- Lee's 8.45 was one-tenth of a second off her personal best of 8.35, set last year.
- Lee finished 16th out of 94 in the 200m with a time of 25.58
- Emily Wolff finished second in her section in the 1-mile run with a time of 5:03.86, placing her sixth overall out of 61 runners.
- Wolff broke her previous personal best in the mile of 5:08.24, set on February 5, 2016 at the Giegengack Invitational.
- Abby Frank finished second in her heat in the 60-meter dash, coming in with a time of 8.06, placing her 13th overall out of 48 competitors.
- Meaghan Scullin was second in her section in the 400 meters, with a time of 1:00.10 and was also the top finisher in the first flight in the long jump with a jump of 5.24 meters, finishing 16th overall.
- Leah Pfrommer finished 14th in the long jump with a jump of 5.30 meters in the second flight.
- Alyson Caron captured first place in the sixth section of the 500 meters, finishing in 1:18.71, good for 14th place. She was .04 ahead of teammate Christina Barbaro, who ran in the fourth section.
- Carly Timpson finished sixth out of 30 in the weight throw with a throw of 16.15 meters. Timpson also finished tied for eighth out of 17 in the high jump with a jump of 1.60 meters.
- Kaleigh Roberts was eighth out of 29 in the 1000 meters with a time of 2:55.35.
- Quinnipiac's 4x400 relay team of Marlo Wehrer, Melissa Solomon, Christina Barbaro and Alyson Caron finished 11th out of 30 with a time of 4:02.80
- Quinnipiac's 4x800 relay team of Harmony Grodsky, Brooke Hagen, Jillian DiGiancinto and Morgan Voight finished 3rd out of five teams with a time of 9:57.46
