HISTORY: This is the inaugural Hartford Hawks Women's Invitational to be held in the fall season
TOURNAMENT FORMAT: 36 holes (18 Saturday, 18 Sunday); Fixed hole pairings:
Quinnipaic will look to keep its hand hot when they compete in the Hartford Hawks Women's Invitational on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 at Gillette Ridge Golf Club in Bloomfield, Conn. The Bobcats will compete against 12 other programs including: Brown, Fairfield, Hartford, Hofstra, Holy Cross, LaSalle, LIU Brooklyn, Monmouth, Sacred Heart, Siena, St. Francis (PA), St. Francis Brooklyn.

THE BOBCATS' LAST TIME OUT
- Quinnipiac opened its 2017-18 season with a tournament victory at the Dartmouth Invitational last weekend.
- The Bobcats shattered their previous 36-hole record of 616 ( 40) at the 2016 MAAC Championship with a 588 ( 12) to win their first regular-season tournament since the 2016 Hartford Invitational.
- Luciana Tobia-Palza (La Paz, Bolivia) broke the Quinnipiac record for 18 holes (65) and 36 holes (141) while her eight birdies in the first round were also a program record.
- Throught its first tournament of the season, Quinnipiac is ranked 130th out of 250 NCAA Division I women's golf programs.
- After the first weekend of the season, Quinnipiac leads the nation in Average Putts (29.30) and Birdie Conversion (28.9%).
- Tobia-Palza's 65 for the first round ranks 12th nationally this season. She also leads the country in average putts (24.50), fewest double bogeys per round (0.00), birdie conversion (58.9%) and fewest 3-putt holes (0.00).
- Estefania Morales (Caracas, Venezuela) followed her personal-best 74 for the first round at Dartmouth with a 73 for the second round to give her an all-time best 147 for the tournament.
- Reigning MAAC Player and Rookie of the Year Alexandra Sazhin (New Fairfield, Connecticut) posted career-bests as well with a 73 for the first round and a 72 for the second for a 145, good for the second-best 36-hole score in program history.
- Julia Kemmling (Berlin, Connecticut) shot a 151 (75-76) for the weekend at Dartmouth and converted on 40% of her birdie opportunities, good for third nationally.
- Freshman Queenie Lai (Hong Kong, China) shot a 77 for the first round of her collegiate career before posting a 74 for the second round.
