HAMDEN, Conn. - Junior right side hitter Kat Miller had 10 kills in 14 attempts to lead a balanced offense as the Quinnipiac volleyball team defeated Siena 3-0 on Wednesday evening at Burt Kahn Court. The win was the third straight for the Bobcats, all at home, as they improve to 3-0 at Burt Kahn this season and 4-1 in the MAAC.

- Junior right site hitter Kat Miller (Collegeville, Pa.) had a big first set with six kills in nine attempts and back-to-back aces during a 6-0 run to start the match.
- Freshman Morgan Sherwin (Coplay, Pa.) came off the bench in the second set and had three kills in three attempts to put Quinnipiac ahead 21-18 before it held on for a 25-23 win.
- Senior middle hitter Elizabeth Kloos (Munster, Ind.) continued her torrid play of late with 10 kills in 17 attempts for a .471 percentage, including eight kills in 10 attempts in the third set. Kloos is hitting .448 in conference play with 56 kills in 105 attempts with only nine errors.
- Three players tied for the team lead with 10 kills apiece, with sophomore outside hitter Natalie Alechko (Old Tappan, N.J.) joining Kloos and Miller.
- Freshman outside hitter Michelle Cuervo (Miami, Fla.) had the winning kill in the second set with the Bobcats leading 24-23 after Siena fought off the first three Bobcat set points.
- Sophomore setter Maria Pansari (Whitehouse Station, N.J.) had 31 assists for her third straight match with over 10 assists per set.
- Quinnipiac has now won its last seven home matches dating back to last year, with the last defeat a 3-2 loss to Niagara, who the Bobcats play next on the road.
