ONE LOVE FOUNDATION

In 2010, Yeardley Love, a women's lacrosse player at University of Virginia and a Bethesda, Md.-area native was beaten to death by her ex-boyfriend. Her story touched thousands, bringing light to the increasingly serious issue of relationship abuse.
The Yards for Yeardley project works to empower communities, especially young female athletes, to speak up and speak out against relationship abuse. The One Love Foundation encourages teams to walk, run, or sprint yards to raise awareness for relationship abuse.
During each of Quinnipiac's ten home games QU Field Hockey will track their Yards for Yeardley. Please join us in raising awareness for relationship abuse by attending one of our games and support this worthy cause, any donation is appreciated!
