ORONO, Maine – The Quinnipiac University field hockey team lost to No. 24 University of Maine, 3-1, at UMaine's Field Hockey Complex. The Black Bears struck for one goal in the first half and two in the second, and were led by Samantha Wagg, who had a goal and an assist. The Bobcats lone goal came from Valerie Perkins (Mohegan Lake, New York) with 18:55 remaining in the game, cutting the lead down to one.
