The Quinnipiac women's tennis team is back in action on Wednesday, April 12, as the Bobcats welcome Binghamton to Hamden for a duel at the QU Outdoor Tennis Courts at 3 p.m.
LAST TIME VS. BINGHAMTON
The last time the Bobcats took on the Saints, Quinnipiac lost 4-3 at the North Haven Health and Racquet Club. Sitilia Rencheli (Sarasota, Florida) won two matches on the day.
SCOUTING THE BEARCATS
Binghamton comes into the match with a 4-13 and have lost their last four matches in a row.
LAST TIME OUT
The last time the Quinnipiac women's tennis team took the court, it celebrated its Senior Day with a 6-1 win over previously unbeaten MAAC rival Siena on Sunday afternoon at the QU Tennis Courts.
The win was the Bobcats' third in a row and improved their record to 8-7 (4-0 MAAC), while Siena suffered its first loss of the season, moving its record to 15-1 (4-1 MAAC), leaving Quinnipiac and Fairfield as the only undefeated teams in conference play.
The team celebrated the careers of seniors Sitilia Rencheli (Sarasota, Florida), Sydney Young (Austin, Texas), Rachel Horton (Stamford, Connecticut) and Kelsi Oliphant (Calgary, Alberta) in a ceremony before the contest against Siena.
All Quinnipiac players who played in the contest won at least one match with Jennifer Lu (Cypress, California) and Rencheli both winning two.
KEEP THE STREAK ALIVE
After defeating Siena on Sunday, April. 9, including MAAC Tournament matches, the Bobcats are now 31-0 in matches against MAAC opponents since joining the new league coming from the Northeast Conference.
MAAC MONSTERS
In the Bobcats' four MAAC dual matches, they have gone 33-3 in competition. The team has posted a 22-2 record in singles play against MAAC opponents and a 11-1 record in doubles competition.
DOMINANT DUOS
The Bobcats own a 66-27 (.710) record in doubles play this season. The duo of Horton and Young leads the team in wins with 20. However, the team of Layla Rodriguez (Rancho Santa Margarita, California) and Rencheli sit in second with 12 wins.
CHEMISTRY IS EVERYTHING
Of the 16 different doubles combinations that head coach Paula Miller has used this season, 13 of those duos have winning records.
ALL THEY DO IS WIN
As the team heads into the match, Young leads the team in overall wins with 35, while Horton sits in second with 32 wins and Rodriguez is in third with 31 wins.

Quinnipiac has four players that have reached at least 10 singles wins on the season already. Young leads the team with 14 singles wins, but Rodriguez, Lu and Horton narrowly trail with 12 wins apiece.
