Quinnipiac men's ice hockey will host Brown on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017 at 7 p.m. at High Point Solutions Arena at the TD Bank Sports Center. Prior to the start of Saturday night's game, Quinnipiac will honor Joe Fiala, K.J. Tiefenwerth, Derek Smith, Connor and Tim Clifton and Tommy Schutt for Senior Night as the six seniors play their final regular-season game in Hamden.

ALL-TIME AGAINST BROWN
• Saturday night's match-up between Quinnipiac and Brown will be the 32nd meeting of the two teams with the Bobcats holding a 18-7-6 record in the all-time ledger.
• The Bobcats host a 13-2-3 record on its home ice and a 5-5-3 record at Meehan Auditorium.
• Quinnipiac is 4-0-1 in its last five meetings against the Brown Bears and 5-2-3 in its last 10.
• The Bobcats are also 4-0-2 in their last six games at High Point Solutions Arena against Brown, with their last loss on their home ice to the Bears coming on Mar. 2, 2012 in the first game of the ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals.

SCOUTING THE BROWN BEARS
• Brown enters Saturday night with a record of 4-22-1 overall and 3-17-0 in ECAC Hockey play.
• Brown has lost five straight games and have won just one game in its last 16 (1-13-2).
• Sam Lafferty leads Brown in assists (21) and points (32) while scoring 11 goals this season. He has also accumulated seven goals and 13 assists for 20 points in 20 ECAC Hockey games.
• Charlie Corcoran leads the team with 14 goals while also contributing 11 assists for 25 points.
• In goal, Gavin Nieto is 3-16-1 with a 3.85 GAA and a .881 save percentage. Tim Ernst has seen action in Brown's last two games and checks-in at 1-4-1 with a .875 save percentage and a 3.70 GAA.

FRIDAY NIGHT RECAP - THE HEROES HAT GAME
In front of a capacity crowd of 3,695 at High Point Solutions Arena at the TD Bank Sports Center, the Quinnipiac men's ice hockey team rolled to a 3-2 win against Yale in the 15th Annual Heroes Hat Game. With the win, Quinnipiac improves to 18-13-2 overall and 12-8-1 in ECAC Hockey play while Yale drops to 11-12-5 overall and 7-10-4 in league play.

The Bobcats' victory, coupled with St. Lawrence's win against Dartmouth, will place Quinnipiac as the No. 5 seed in the upcoming ECAC Hockey tournament which will commence with a best-of-three home series against Brown on Mar. 3-5.

Three different Bobcats scored in the win, including power-play goals from Craig Martin (Trail, British Columbia) and Bo Pieper (Roseville, Minnesota), as well as the game-winner fromLandon Smith (Greenwood Village, Colorado). Pieper's goal was his 12th of the season and places him in a tie for the team-high with Tim Clifton. Quinnipiac assist-leader Brogan Rafferty(Dundee, Illinois) picked up his team-leading 21st of the season while Tim and Connor Clifton(Matawan, New Jersey) and Thomas Aldworth (Keller, Texas) all picked up assists.

Quinnipiac freshman goalie Andrew Shortridge (Anchorage, Alaska) stopped 19 of Yale's 21 shots-on-goal, as he improved to 8-5-0 overall and 6-2-0 in ECAC Hockey. Shortridge also carries a .934 save percentage and a 1.82 GAA in league play to date.
