
QU Women's Basketball Uses Balanced Attack to Defeat Richmond, 81-65

RICHMOND, Virginia - Senior forward Sarah Shewan (Russell, Ontario) followed her 24-point performance against Dayton with a 22-point effort as the Quinnipiac women's basketball team defeated the University of Richmond, 81-65 on Friday evening at the Robins Center.
The win was Quinnipiac's third in a row as the Bobcats open a short two-game road-trip with a win before closing at Hampton University on Sunday. Quinnipiac used a balanced attack as Aryn McClure (Springfield Gardens, New York), Carly Fabbri (Stratford, Connecticut), Paige Warfel (Chester Springs, Pennsylvania) and Shewan combined for 59 points in the win.
