Before Quinnipiac
- A veteran of the BCHL, Davidson played three full seasons in the highly competitive junior league
- Davidson spent a majority of his BCHL career with the Trail Smoke Eaters as he appeared in 146 career games across three seasons before he was traded to the Chilliwack Chiefs toward the end of the 2014-15 season
- In 167 career BCHL games, Davidson racked up 114 career points with 45 goals and 69 assists
- A natural playmaker with durability, Davidson reeled off three straight seasons with at least 34 points and 54 games played
- In his first BCHL season in 2012-13, Davidson racked up 34 points (11 goals, 23 assists) in 55 games for Trail
- In his second year with the Smoke Eaters in 2013-14, Davidson improved to a 35-point season (16 goals, 19 assists) in 54 games
- He continued to improve into the 2014-15 season, where he finished with his best BCHL season with career-highs across the board in points (45), goals (18) and assists (27)
