
QU Field Hockey Falls at Providence, 2-1, in Hard-Fought Battle

PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island – The Quinnipiac field hockey team lost on the road to the Providence Friars, 2-1, in a highly-contested battle under the lights Friday night. The Bobcats' lone goal came from Lauren Belskie (Hillsborough, New Jersey) on a penalty corner to cut the Friars lead to one with 22 minutes to play in the second half. Elisa Ruiz-Martinez (Madrid, Spain) picked up the assist on Belskie's goal.
