Coming of their first series sweep of the season against Vermont, the Quinnipiac University women's ice hockey team will travel to Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts to take on the No. 3 Boston College Eagles on Tuesday night at the Conte Forum.
LAST WEEKEND AGAINST VERMONT
• The Bobcats swept the University of Vermont Catamounts in a two-game series at home on Friday and Saturday.
• Quinnipiac was victorious in Game 1 of the set, 4-1, and won Game 2, 2-1.
• In Game 1, freshman Brooke Bonsteel (Mississauga, Ontario) scored the first two goals of her Bobcat career. The first ended up being the game-winner, and the second was on the power play.
• Junior Anna Kilponen (Orivesi, Finland) netted her first career goal as a Bobcat with a power play goal to open the game on Friday.
• Sophomore Sarah-Eve Coutu-Godbout (Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec) scored an empty netter to conclude the scoring for the Bobcats in Game 1.
• Junior Kenzie Lancaster (Waxhaw, North Carolina) tallied two assists in Game 1, and scored the game-winning goal in Game 2.
• Bonsteel scored the first goal of the second game, and tallied an assist on Lancaster's goal.
• Freshman Allison Small (Nestleton, Ontario) recorded her first collegiate win on Saturday, making 24 saves on the evening.
• Junior assistant captian Randi Marcon (Winnipeg, Manitoba) and freshman Laura Lundblad (Ada, Michigan) recorded an assist in each of the two games.
• Senior captian Alicia Barry (Hanson, Massachusetts) tallied her first point with an assist on Friday.
SCOUTING BOSTON COLLEGE
• The Boston College Eagles finished last season with a record of 28-6-5 and a conference record of 17-4-3. The Eagles won the Hockey East last season.
• BC made it to the Frozen Four last year, falling to Wisconsin 1-0 in the semifinals.
• Head coach Katie Crowley returns for her 11th season at the helm. Crowley has racked up 248 wins as a head coach, and has mad the Frozen Four five times.
• Boston College and Quinnipiac faced twice last season. The first game resulted in a scoreless draw, and the Eagles defeated the Bobcats in the second game, 4-1.
• Freshman Daryl Watts and sophomore Caitrin Lonergan lead Boston College with 5 points through two games this season.
• Senior goaltender Katie Burt has started both games this season and has a 2-0-0 record a .937 save percentage. She has played in 110 games for Boston College and has amassed 93 wins.

• Sophomore Abbie Ives (Bedford Hills, N.Y.) played in six games for the Bobcats last season, starting three of those appearances, and earned a 3-0-1 record.
• In her time in net during the 2016-2017 season, Ives allowed only one goal. Her goals against average was 0.23 and she collected a .983 save percentage.
• Ives recently picked up her third career shutout in a 1-0 victory over Providence in which she made a career high 37 shots.
• Through five games this season, Ives has made 104 saves and has a 1.40 goals against average.
NO PLACE LIKE HOME
• The Bobcats won their first three games at home this season, defeating Providence and Vermont, twice.
DOMINANT DEFENSE
• Quinnipiac finished the 2016-2017 season at No. 2 in the nation in team defense, giving up just 1.38 goals per contest.
