LAST WEEKEND AGAINST PROVIDENCE
- The Bobcats split a two-game home and home series against the Friars of Providence College last Friday and Saturday.
- Quinnipiac was defeated in Game 1 at Providence on Friday night 3-1, but bounced back with a 1-0 win over the Friars on Saturday afternoon in Hamden.
- In Game 1, sophomore Sarah-Eve Coutu-Godbout (Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec) scored her second goal of the season off assists from classmates Kate MacKenzie (Winnipeg, Manitoba) and Kati Tabin (Winnipeg, Manitoba).
- Coutu-Godbout took the team lead in goals (2) and Kate MacKenzie took the team lead in assists (2).
- In Game 2, sophomore Abbie Ives (Bedford Hills, New York) turned away a career-high 37 shots for her first shutout of the season, the third of her career.
- Sophomore Abby Cleary (Buffalo, New York) was the lone goal scorer of the contest, finding the back of the net for the second time this season. Her goal was assisted by Raquel Pennoyer (Rehoboth, Massachusetts), her second assist on the year.
- Cleary tied Coutu-Godbout for the team lead in goals (2) as well as both MacKenzie and Coutu-Godbout for the team lead in points (3)
- Freshman Taylor House (Joliet, Illinois) led the team with 12 shots on goal for the weekend.
- The Catamounts finished last season with a record of 15-14-9 and a conference record of 9-8-7.
- The team fell to the Providence Friars on Sunday, Oct. 1, 6-2, who Quinnipiac split a series with last weekend.
- Head coach Jim Plumer returns for his sixth season at the helm. Plumer was Hockey East's Co-Coach of the year in 2014.
- Vermont finished 3-3-1 against ECAC opponents last season including, Dartmouth, Yale, Clarkson, Union, and St. Lawrence.
- The team's top scorer, Eve-Audrey Picard, returns for her sophomore year. The forward tallied 16 goals, 15 assists and 31 points her freshman year against non-conference opponents.
- Vermont lost goalie Madison Litchfield to graduation. Litchfield compiled a .928 save percentage, and allowed just 2.08 goals per game.
- Quinnipiac is 3-2-1 all-time vs. the Catamounts.
- The Bobcats last faced Vermont in 2008, a game in which the team was defeated 3-1.
- Quinnipiac was ranked fifth in the Preseason ECAC Coaches' Poll.

- The four Bobcats are tied for 6th in the ECAC in assists
- Sophomore Abbie Ives (Bedford Hills, N.Y.) played in six games for the Bobcats last season, starting three of those appearances, and earned a 3-0-1 record.
- In her time in net during the 2016-2017 season, Ives allowed only one goal. Her goals against average was 0.23 and she collected a .983 save percentage.
- Ives recently picked up her third career shutout in a 1-0 victory over Providence in which she made a career high 37 shots.
- Through four games this season, Ives has made 89 saves and has a 1.40 goals against average
- Over the past eight years, only three Division I women's ice hockey teams have won 19 or more games each season: Quinnipiac, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.
- The Bobcats won their home opener against Providence on Saturday.
