GLASTONBURY, Connecticut – Quinnipiac women's soccer head coach Dave Clarke was recently featured in the Glastonbury LIFE Magazine in a three-page article written by staff writer Mara Dresner entitled, 'Quinnipiac soccer coach is about more than just the game.'
Coach Clarke wrapped up his 17th season at the helm of the Bobcats as he has compiled a career record of 149-154-33 overall while currently standing 131-140-30 in his time at Quinnipiac. After enduring a 3-13-1 campaign in 2014, Coach Clarke led a young Bobcat squad to a five-win turnaround in 2015 that saw the Bobcats finish 8-8-1 overall and 4-5-1 in the MAAC.
In all, Quinnipiac returns 10-of-13 players who saw time in at least 12 games last season. Notable returners include the entire defensive back line – Joanna Proctor, Sararhkate Norton, Jess Cascio, Caroline DeBonis and Katrina Friedman – as well as the entire midfield group – Jess Fontaine, Jess Gargan and Amanda Westman. Nadya Gill will also look to repeat her MAAC Rookie of the Year campaign that included a team-leading 19 points (6th MAAC) on eight goals (tied-5th MAAC) and three assists.
