QU Men's Basketball Hosts Danni Kemp Fundraiser Thursday Against Monmouth

HAMDEN, Connecticut – The Quinnipiac men's basketball team will be hosting a fundraiser for Stony Brook student-athlete and local Milford native, Danni Kemp, during the Bobcats contest against MAAC foe Monmouth on Thursday, Dec. 1, on at the TD Bank Sports Center at 7 p.m.
This past July, Kemp was hit in the head by a pitch, which caused her to develop an inoperable brain tumor in the pons region of her brain. On advice of her doctors at Yale, Kemp has been traveling to Germany regularly for clinical trial treatments.
Since catching wind of the injury, the Quinnipiac, Yale, UNH and Southern Connecticut softball programs have all done their part to help raise money to aid Kemp in her treatments by heading the DanniStrong and Dingers4Danni campaigns.
There will be a table set up to sell bracelets, shirts and raffle tickets benefiting Danni's cause at the men's basketball contest on Thursday. Any tickets sold that reference promo code "Danni-Strong" will have a portion of the proceeds go to Danni's Cancer Support Fund as well.
Following Thursday's contest, the Quinnipiac men's basketball team is asking anyone interested in donating to Danni Kemp's Cancer Support Fund can do so by visiting the official GoFundMe page via the link HERE or above.
