Quinnipiac field hockey returns home on Sunday, Sept. 27 to host the University of Vermont in a non-conference match-upo at the QU Field Hockey Turf Complex in Hamden, Conn. Quinnipiac enters Sunday's matinee - set for a 12 p.m. start - with a record of 2-7 on the year, while the Catamounts come to town with an identical record.

Quinnipiac will look to rebound from a 6-3 loss at Hofstra on Friday, Sept. 25. The Bobcats scored a season-high three goals in the loss as Lauren Belskie, Savanna Reilly and Meghan McCullough all found the back of the cage in the Bobcats' loss.

The Department of Athletics and Recreation is committed to Quinnipiac University's strategic plan for Inclusion, Multiculturalism, and Globalism in Education (IMaGinE). The game of emphasis is working towards the IMaGinE committee's goal of fostering an environment of inclusion among the department.

• Quinnipiac and Vermont have met four times in Quinnipiac's Division I history, with the Bobcats recording a win in each game.
• The first meeting between the two teams came on Sept. 26, 2003 and saw the Bobcats squeak out a 1-0 victory. In that game, Chelsea Osbrey knocked in a loose ball in front of the cage with three minutes to play to give Quinnipiac the win.
• Quinnipiac and Vermont have played each other in each of the last three years, with the Bobcats outscoring the Catamounts 9-3.
