Ousmane Drame Featured in New Haven Register

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Rising star and senior forward Ousmane Drame (Boston, Mass.) was recently featured in an article by the New Haven Register on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015. The story, written by columnist Chris Hunn, highlights Drame's journey to Quinnipiac and the many obstacles that he overcame in getting to where his is today.
Drame, who hails from a small country in Western Africa, has taken full advantage of his natural ability and extraordinary work ethic. He is averaging 14.2 points and 10.9 rebounds per game, and has really hit his stride during the second half of the season. What's even more impressive is Drame's expedition to Quinnipiac and his path along the way.
Quinnipiac enjoys a few days off for some rest until heading north to upstate New York next weekend. The Bobcats take on Canisius on Friday, Jan. 30 at the Koessler Athletic Center in Buffalo (7 p.m.) before facing Niagara on Sunday, Feb. 1 at the Gallagher Center in Lewiston (2 p.m.).
