
Chris Griffin Named A New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Senior Scholar-Athlete

Quinnipiac University senior Chris Griffin (Long Beach, N.Y.) has been selected as a New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Senior Scholar-Athlete. In order to qualify for this honor, seniors must carry a 3.0 grade point average or higher and have excelled on the field.
Griffin finished the 2007 season with 18 points (eight goals, 10 assists) for the Bobcats. He ranked third on the club in assists and fifth in points.
He enjoyed his best statistical campaign as a junior, netting a career-best 30 points a year ago on 15 goals and 15 assists.
For his career, Griffin tallied 50 points (24 goals, 26 assists) in 41 career games with the Bobcats.
The Quinnipiac University men's lacrosse team concluded the 2007 season with a 6-7 overall mark. The Bobcats also finished tied for fourth in GWLL action with a 1-4 mark. It was Quinnipiac's second year as a member of the GWLL.
