AS A FRESHMAN IN 2016:
- Appeared in four events in her rookie season
- Placed 35th in the Stony Brook Invitational (9/3) with a time of 19:18.9
- Appeared in the Paul Short Women’s Open Run (10/1) where she finished 364th overall while crossing the line in 28:15.3
- Finished the sub-varsity New England Championship event (10/8) in 214th place with a time of 24:08.7
- Closed out the season placing 75th in the sub-varsity CCSU Mini Meet (10/21) as she crossed the line in 13:21.2
BEFORE QUINNIPIAC:
- Graduated from Simsbury High School in Connecticut
- Member of the National Honor Society, National Latin Honors Society, Honor Roll and All-Academic Team at Simsbury
- Lettered on the cross country and track and field teams all four years of high school
- Named All-Conference in her freshman and sophomore year
- 2016 Connecticut Scholar-Athlete
- Achieved personal best times in the 800m (2:21) and 1600m (5:26)
- Helped lead Simsbury to three Conference Championships (2013-15)
- Was a driving force in helping Simsbury score the CIAC State Championship in 2014
- Helped lift the 4x800m relay team to a sixth place result at the New England Outdoor Championships

- Daughter of Gregory and Valerie Soja
- Sister Jess was a four-year member of the cross country and track and field programs at Quinnipiac
- Sister Valeria Soja also attended Quinnipiac
- Sister Rebecca Soja is a member of the crew team at Syracuse University
- Participated in soup kitchen work and helped with Top Soccer and Special Olympics in high school
- Soja has a twin brother with a different birthday
- Older sisters are also twins
- Majoring in health sciences at Quinnipiac
