Jill DiSanti joined the Quinnipiac field hockey staff in August 2021 and will serve as a volunteer coach and data analyst for the Bobcats.
DiSanti played on the Quinnipiac field hockey team from 2001-2004 and served as the captain her senior year. She returns to Quinnipiac after serving as a coach for the field hockey programs at Lafayette, Monmouth and Wagner. She most recently served as the assistant field hockey coach at Lafayette until March 2020. Before Lafayette, DiSanti was responsible for the launch of the first Division I field hockey team at Wagner and was the head coach from 2018-2019.
At Monmouth, DiSanti saw great success with the Hawks in the MAAC and spent 11 years on the staff. She was promoted to the associate head coach in July 2015 and stayed with the program until 2018. DiSanti led the Hawks to four-straight MAAC regular season champion titles, two MAAC Championships in 2014 and 2016 and made two NCAA tournament appearances in the same seasons. In 2021, she was named the USA Field Hockey Nexus Coach for the New Jersey region.
As a Bobcat, DiSanti was inducted into the Quinnipiac Hall of Fame in 2012, and in 2009, the program named the team's Best Defensive Player Award after her. She graduated from Quinnipiac with her Bachelor's degree in sociology in 2004 and also earned her Master's degree in Corporate and Public Communications from Monmouth.
