Anna Walmsley '19 was named the Director of Operations for the Quinnipiac field hockey program in September 2019 after finishing up her collegiate career with the Bobcats in the 2018 season.
Walmsley will be responsible for film analysis and player development along with data entry and team planning.
She played in 28 games in two years with the Bobcats a junior and a senior, totaling four goals and eight points in her career as she netted two goals each season. Off the field, Walmsley was named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team as a junior and was named to the Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA National Academic Squad as a senior.
Following graduation, Walmsley was selected to participate at the 2019 NCAA Career in Sports Forum in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Walmsley began her collegiate field hockey career at Limestone in 2015, where she scored one goal in 17 games before the program was eliminated and she transferred to Missouri State. Walmsley played in 14 games for Missouri State in 2016 before that program was eliminated and she transferred to Quinnipiac.
She was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland, and was the first member of her family to come to the United States and compete in an NCAA sport.
