- Opened the season taking third in the hammer throw (49.94m) and sixth in the high jump (1.65m) at the Colonial Relays (3/30)
- Showed very well at the Miami Hurricane Alumni Invitational (4/7), taking a pair of third place results in the hammer throw (54.20m) and high jump (1.65m) events
- Claimed her first title of 2017, taking first place in the hammer throw with a toss of 52.01m at the UMass Minuteman Invitational (4/15)
- Swept the Wolfie Invitational (4/22), claiming first in the high jump (1.65m) and hammer throw (51.31m) events
- Took third place in both the hammer throw (52.79m) and high jump (1.55m) events at the Yale Springtime Invitational (4/30)

- Was incredible at the MAAC Championships (5/7), picking up two individual gold medals as she swept both events (long jump, hammer throw) in which she competed over the weekend
- Started the MAAC Championships besting a field of 15 with a throw of 53.75m in the hammer throw as she also became the first Bobcat to win a field event at a conference championship in program history
- She followed that up taking first place in the high jump, matching her program record with 1.65m to top a field of 14 at the MAAC Championships
- Timpson later made history again as she tossed a program record 54.27m to place seventh in the hammer throw to become the first Bobcat to place in a field event at the ECAC Championships (5/14) in program history
- Picked up her first career gold medal in the hammer throw at the Yale Springtime Invitational (5/1) with a throw of 51.77m which earned her MAAC Field Athlete of the Week honors
- Tied for 12th in the high jump with 1.55m at the Colonial Relays (4/1)
- Captured third place in the hammer throw (49.82m) and tied for ninth in the high jump (1.55m) at the George Mason Spring Invitational (4/9)
- Tied for 11th in the high jump, matching her season high with 1.65m at the Long Beach Invitational (4/15)
- Placed second in both the high jump (1.60m) and hammer throw (52.84m) at the Wolfie Invitational (4/23)
- Graduated from Narragansett High School in 2015
- Wrapped up her career as the two-time indoor Rhode Island state champion in the high jump as she cleared the same 5-feet, 4 inches in the 2014 Interscholastic League title
- Completed dominated the state of Rhode Island, owning the best high jump in the state for five consecutive seasons starting with her 2013 outdoor campaign as a sophomore
- A versatile competitor, she won the high jump at the Small Schools and Headley Division meets and finishing second in the Small Schools weight throw
- Competed in four consecutive New Balance National Championships (2013-14; 2014-15) to close out her career as she made the indoor and outdoor championships in her junior and senior years
- Took 5th place in the girls championship hammer toss and was the runner-up in the girls emerging elite hammer
- Timpson completed a huge weekend by placing second in the girls emerging elite high jump, as she cleared 1.75m to pick up silver
