HAMDEN, Conn. – Quinnipiac women's tennis is set to compete in the MAAC Tournament this weekend at the Princeton University Racquet and Fieldhouse. The Bobcats open with a semifinal matchup against No. 4 Fairfield, looking to claim their ninth MAAC title.

Matches are set to begin at 10:00 a.m.

MAAC RUNS THROUGH CT

These two programs are meeting in the postseason for the fifth straight season.
The Stags are making their 13^th overall postseason appearance since 2011.
In the regular season matchup, the Bobcats defeated the Stags 6-1 back on April 15 in Hamden.
Overall, Fairfield and QU have met seven total times in the playoffs, with QU leading 5-2.

BOBCAT BREAKDOWN

The Bobcats won their 11^th MAAC regular season title completing their second straight perfect 8-0 campaign. It was the program's 10^th perfect conference regular season since joining the MAAC in 2013-14.
QU closed out the regular season on an 11 match winning streak with a 16-6 overall record, and have won 16 straight MAAC matches dating back to the 2024-2025 season.
Head Coach Paula Miller was named MAAC Head Coach of the Year in back-to-back seasons, marking her ninth with Quinnipiac.
Sophomore Willow Renton earned MAAC Player of the Year for the second time in as many years, as well as All-MAAC First Team Singles and All-MAAC First Team Doubles with partner Caitlin Flower unanimously.
Flower and Vera Sekerina were named to the All-MAAC Second Team Singles while Caroline Schulson and Isabella Sicignano got All-MAAC Second Team Doubles honors.
The Bobcats also placed a conference-high eight on the MAAC All-Academic Team.

MAAC MASTERS TOURNAMENT

Willow Renton is coming off a very successful MAAC Masters tournament, earning the women's single title, as well as the doubles title with partner Caitlin Flower. Renton and Flower moved on to compete in the ITA Conference Masters Championships in San Diego, California.

2026 CAPTAINS

Sophomore Willow Renton and junior Caroline Schulson will serve as the team's captains for the 2026 season.

2024-25 SEASON

Quinnipiac women's tennis went 12-9, with a 8-0 MAAC record.
The Bobcats claimed its MAAC-record eighth conference title, defeating the defending champions Fairfield 4-3.
Willow Renton was named MAAC Player of the Year, MAAC Rookie of the Year, and the tournament's Most Outstanding Player.
QU named five players to All-MAAC teams with Willow Renton earning first team singles honors, and doubles with partner Caitlin Flower, while Caroline Schulson, Anagha Shankar, Vera Sekerina, and Flowers earned second team singles honors.
Shankar and Sekerina also earned second team doubles honors.

MAAC DOMINANCE

QU has now won eight MAAC championships/advanced to the NCAA Tournament seven times since joining the league (2013-14, 2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18, 2021-22, 2022-23, 2024-25) under Head Coach/Director of Tennis Paula Miller.
Under the guidance of Head Coach Miller, the Bobcats have earned at least a share of the regular season MAAC title ten straight times since joining the MAAC in 2013-14. Miller has been named MAAC Coach of the Year eight times (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2025). She has led Quinnipiac to eight MAAC Tournament titles and seven NCAA Tournament appearances (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2022, 2025).
