Bobcats Conclude Georgia State Invitational

Johns Creek, Ga. – The Quinnipiac women's golf team wrapped up play at the Georgia State Invitational on Tuesday with a fifth-place finish among 14 programs. As a team, the Bobcats shot a 310 (+22) on the final day to give them a three-round total of 896 (+32).
Sophia Fujita finished as the highest finisher among the Bobcats, finishing in a tie for seventh place. Fujita shot a 77 (+5) in the final round to give her a three-round total of 219 (+3).
Samantha Galantini concluded the tournament with a tournament total of 222 (+6) after shooting a 77 (+5) on Tuesday. Galantini finished in a four-way tie for 15th place, marking her fourth top twenty finish of the season.
Vaidehi Shah closed out the Georgia State Invitational with a 77 (+5) on the final 18 holes. Shah recorded a two-day total of 226 (+10) at her third event of the year.
Marisa Flores shot an 80 (+8) on the final day of competition, giving her a three-round score of 230 (+14) in her seventh tournament of the season.
Rounding out the Quinnipiac grouping was Natalie Spiska, who shot a 79 (+7) in the final round of play in Johns Creek. Tekla Fine-Lease, who competed as an individual, finished the tournament with an 81 (+9) in the final round.
