Fogg Named to Preseason All-MAAC Team, Bobcats Voted No. 7 in Coaches' Poll

HAMDEN, Conn. – The Quinnipiac softball program has been tabbed No. 7 in the 2026 MAAC Softball Preseason Coaches' Poll, as revealed by the conference office on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026. The Bobcats received 98 total points in the poll.
Senior Mary Fogg was selected for the Preseason All-MAAC Team, as well.
Mary Fogg earned a spot on the Preseason All-MAAC squad as an outfielder following a standout junior season for the Bobcats. She started 38 games and led the team in batting average (.333), hits (40), and multi-hit performances (9), while also being named Second Team All-MAAC.
Fogg recorded the longest on-base streak on the team, reaching base in 12 consecutive games. She capped off the season with career highs in doubles (4), triples (3), slugging percentage (.417), and putouts (69).
Quinnipiac softball finished 2025 with a program high 14-11 record in MAAC play. Head coach Hillary Smith and the Bobcats lost to No. 6 Rider in the opening round of the MAAC tournament.
