Quinnipiac Ties Program Record in Round Two of Autumn Harvest

Bobcats Sit in 2nd at Autumn Harvest, 6th at SHU Fall Classic
Hamden, Conn. - The Quinnipiac women's golf team sits in 2nd of nine schools at the Autumn Harvest hosted by Lehigh University and 6th of 15 teams at the SHU Fall Classic on Monday, September 29th.
Sophia Fujita continues to show her dominance, shooting a 69 (-2) in round one and a 68 (-3) in the final round on day one. Samantha Galantini finished right behind Fujita with a two-round total of 140 (-2).
Marisa Flores, who is competing as an individual, currently sits in eighth place after a two-round total of 148 (+6). Finishing a stroke behind Flores was Natalie Spiska, who finished day one in a four-way tie for ninth place.
Alexia Egdahl finished the first day in 19th place as she carded a 78 (+7) in the opening round and a 74 (+3) in the final round on the first day. Vaidehi Shah rounded out the Quinnipiac grouping with a two-round total of 156 (+14).
With their second-round team score of 282, the Bobcats tied a program record for the best 18-hole performance in program history (The Atlantic Invitational (2022-23)).

The Bobcats sit in 6th place out of 15 teams at the SHU Fall Classic as play was suspended towards the end of the second round in Milford, Connecticut.
Amy Goddard currently sits in a tie for 19th place as her play was halted with one hole to go. Goddard shot a 78 (+6) in the first round and is currently at 75 in the second round.
Michelle Wong came in right behind Goddard in a tie for 22nd place as she heads into the final round of competition at the SHU Fall Classic. Tekla Fine-Lease finished just one stroke behind Wong, but sits in a six-way tie for 29th place.
Sandhya Vaikuntam and Mason Egdahl closed out the Quinnipiac grouping at the SHU Fall Classic in a tie for 44th and 51st place, respectively.
