EDISON, NJ (June 30, 2025) – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has announced its Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Executive Board for the 2025-26 academic year. Quinnipiac Track & Field student-athlete Elise Barricelli has been appointed MAAC SAAC Vice Chair for the upcoming 2025-26 season.
In her role, Barricelli aims to strengthen communication between MAAC campuses, and to amplify athlete voices on key issues like mental health and leadership development.
"Being selected as Vice Chair of MAAC SAAC is an incredible honor," Barricelli said. "It is a culmination of my hard work and involvement in SAAC so far, not only at Quinnipiac, but at the conference level. I have the opportunity to represent student-athletes beyond my own campus and contribute to something bigger—creating a better experience for athletes across all institution in the MAAC."
Barricelli received a Bachelor of Science in Business in May of 2025 and she is pursuing an MBA during the 2025-26 academic year.
