HAMDEN, Conn. (May 6, 2025) – The NCAA has announced the latest four-year Academic Progress Rates (APR) and 5 Quinnipiac programs achieved a perfect score of 1,000.
The Bobcats' men's lacrosse, men's tennis, women's cross country, women's golf, and women's lacrosse programs all received perfect multiyear APR scores.
16 different QU teams recorded a multi-year APR rating of 980+. All but two of Quinnipiac's programs posted a rate equal or above the national average (984).
The APR, created to provide more of real-time measurement of academic success than graduation success rates offer, is a team-based metric where scholarship student-athletes earn one point each term for remaining eligible and one point for staying in school or graduating. Schools that don't offer scholarships track their recruited student-athletes. The multiyear APR reflects NCAA Division I APR data submitted by schools for the 2020-21 through 2023-24 academic years.
Individual Team scores can be found on the NCAA Website.
44 MAAC teams achieved perfect APR scores (1,000) – 28 women's and 16 men's. Four league sports saw an increase in their average rate from the 2022-23 report, while eight MAAC sports posted rates above or equal to the national average.
