Bobcats Fall to Fairfield in MAAC Championship

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – The Quinnipiac women's basketball team fell to the Fairfield Stags 76-53 in the 2025 MAAC Championship game on Saturday, March 15th in Atlantic City, NJ.
Gal Raviv led the Bobcats in scoring with 17 points in the loss to Fairfield. Raviv led the team with six rebounds and five assists. Anna Foley reached double digits for the 23rd time this season, scoring ten points on 5-for-8 shooting from the floor.
The Bobcats and Stags came out of the gates shooting well, but Quinnipiac held a two-point lead at the first-quarter media timeout. After the Stags took a 15-13 lead, Gal Raviv got a driving layup to fall as the Bobcats evened the game up at 15 at the end of the opening quarter.
The second quarter saw the Stags go on a quick 7-0 run to force the Bobcats to call a timeout as the Stags took a 22-15 lead. Fairfield's lead would get as high as 18 in the quarter, but a three from Jackie Grisdale in the final seconds brought Quinnipiac within fifteen at the halftime break.
Quinnipiac got within nine as Anna Foley got a jumper to fall halfway through the third quarter. Fairfield had the response as they pushed their lead back to 18 at the media timeout. Grace LaBarge and Karson Martin hit back-to-back threes to pull the Bobcats back within 12 as they headed to the final quarter down 54-42.
Fairfield continued to knock down their three-pointers as they responded to a mini QU run with a run of their own to take a 19-point advantage, forcing Quinnipiac to call a timeout. Quinnipiac would not be able to catch up to the Stags as Fairfield closed out the 76-53 victory.
