No. 9 Bobcats Lose Tight Game at St. Lawrence

CANTON, N.Y. — Despite a late goal from Laurence Frenette, the No. 9 Quinnipiac Bobcats fell 2-1 on Friday evening at Appleton Arena.
QU and St. Lawrence played an even first 10 minutes with each team trading chances. St. Lawrence broke the tie after Kaley Doyle misplayed a dump attempt and the Saints took advantage of the empty net.
Neither team would score until St. Lawrence hit the empty net with 2:17 to go. Laurence Frenette would get one back for QU on the power play with just over a minute to go but it wouldn't enough for the Bobcats.

QU will take a trip down the road from St. Lawrence to face No. 10 Clarkson in Potsdam, N.Y. at 3:00 PM tomorrow afternoon.
