Raviv Scores 32 as Bobcats Down Peacocks

JERSEY CITY, N.J. – The Quinnipiac women's basketball team picked up their seventh victory in a row as they defeated the Saint Peter's Peacocks 74-65 on Thursday night in New Jersey.
Gal Raviv had another impressive day for the Bobcats as she dropped 32 points, tying her career high. Raviv shot 50% (12-for-24) from the field and knocked down six threes. The first year grabbed nine rebounds and dished out six assists. Anna Foley reached double figures as she scored ten points in the win. Seven Bobcats recorded points in the win over the Peacocks.
The Bobcats and Peacocks went back-and-forth in the opening quarter but a layup from Gal Raviv with 2:51 put the Bobcats up 17-16. Jackie Grisdale got a three to fall in the final minute of the opening quarter to push Quinnipiac's lead to four.
The Bobcats held the lead for much of the second quarter, but the Peacocks knocked down a three to take a one-point lead with 2:22 to play in the half. It was the Gal Raviv show after that as Raviv drilled three three-pointers to put the Bobcats in front 41-33 at the half.
The Bobcats continued to build on their lead out of the break as they held a nine-point advantage halfway through the third frame. The Bobcats outscored the Peacocks 8-6 to close out the third quarter and entered the final ten minutes with a 61-50 lead.
Saint Peter's managed to outscore the Bobcats 15-13 in the final quarter, but Quinnipiac defeated the Peacocks 74-65.
